When It Matters Most
A damaged property doesn't wait for convenient timing. Neither do we.
How reinstatement works

The Claims Journey

Reinstatement works are only ever as smooth as the process behind them. We manage every stage in line with insurer requirements, so approvals move quickly and nothing gets lost between site and inbox.

01 — First Notification
You call, we mobilise

Contact us directly or via your insurer. For urgent damage, we assess and mobilise for emergency make-safe works the same day.

02 — Site Survey
Scope of works

A contract manager attends site, records the extent of the damage, and produces a detailed, itemised scope of works.

03 — Insurer Liaison
Approval & sign-off on scope

We submit the scope to your insurer or loss adjuster and handle correspondence directly until it's approved.

04 — Drying & Make-Safe
Where required

Affected areas are monitored and recorded until they reach a confirmed dry standard, before any reinstatement begins.

05 — Reinstatement
Works carried out

Our directly employed trades complete the agreed scope, with regular updates so you always know where things stand.

06 — Sign-Off
Documentation handed over

Final inspection, your sign-off, and a complete set of documentation and photographs for your records.

What We Cover

Whatever the peril, scoped and reinstated properly

Every type of loss behaves differently, and every claim has its own risks if the wrong scope goes in. We assess each one on its own terms rather than applying a generic repair.

Fire damage

Strip-out, smoke and soot remediation, and full structural rebuild where needed.

Escape of water

Leak tracing, drying and reinstatement of affected floors, walls and ceilings.

Storm & flood damage

Emergency make-safe through to full drying and reinstatement programmes.

Subsidence & structural movement

Remedial building work coordinated alongside structural engineers and underpinning contractors.

Impact & accidental damage

Vehicle impacts, falling trees and one-off accidental damage repaired to specification.

Malicious damage & vandalism

Secure, make-safe and reinstate, with full photographic evidence for your claim.

Evidence Insurers
Can Rely On

Most delays in a claim come down to disagreement over what happened and what it costs to put right. We build the record as we go, so there's less to dispute later.

Photographic records at every stage

Before, during and after — clear evidence of the damage and the works carried out.

A fully itemised scope of works

Priced clearly, so there's no ambiguity over what's included and why.

Direct correspondence with your insurer

We deal with your insurer or loss adjuster throughout, not just at the start.

Clear sign-off on completion

A documented handover, so there's a record everyone can point to afterwards.

Common questions

Before you get in touch

Do I have to use my insurer's recommended contractor?+

No. As a policyholder you're entitled to choose your own contractor for reinstatement works. Your insurer may suggest a preferred contractor, but the decision is yours to make.

How quickly will you respond to an emergency?+

We aim to attend within 2 hours during business hours for urgent situations such as fire, flood or storm damage, to make the property safe and limit further loss.

Will you deal with my insurer directly?+

Yes. We liaise directly with your insurer or loss adjuster throughout the claim, from initial scope through to final sign-off, so you're not left chasing updates yourself.

What happens if my property needs drying before repairs start?+

Where drying is required, we monitor the affected areas until they reach a confirmed dry standard before reinstatement work begins, to avoid problems being sealed in behind new finishes.

Will this affect my insurance premium?+

That comes down to your policy and insurer, not which contractor carries out the work. We'd always recommend checking directly with your insurer or broker on premium implications.

Are you insured to carry out this work?+

Yes — all work is carried out by fully insured, directly employed tradespeople, with health and safety managed as a priority on every site, occupied or not.
